Depression is one of the most helpless and frustrating experiences a person can have. It’s sometimes feeling sad, sometimes feeling empty, and sometimes feeling absolutely nothing at all. There are times when depression can leave someone feeling paralyzed in their own mind and body, unable to do the things they used to love to do or the things they know they should be doing. Depression is not just a bad day or a bad mood and it’s not something someone can just “get over.” Remember no one chooses to be depressed.
2. Saying things like “it’ll get better,” “you just need to get out of the house,” or “you’ll be fine” is meaningless.
It’s easy to tell someone these things because you think you’re giving them a solution or a simple way to make them feel better and to ease their pain, but these…
Sorry I haven’t posted anything lately but I’ve been super busy revising for my exams…
Recently I bought a tote bag from an online cartel and I think that for the first time I’m in love and my heart has grown x3

I bought this bag for $22 (£15.08) from http://society6.com/nickycostiand I am in awe at her product range. She sells carefully crafted Mugs, IPhone Cases, Pillows, Framed Art, Tote Bags, Art/Canvas Prints, Shower Curtains and Wall Clocks all which are reasonably priced!!! If you are reading this please please please visit her cartel, she sells amazing fashionable items and she is so talented!!! She really does deserve some recognition. 🙂

Like I said earlier on, I am super busying revising for my exams so I’m not sure when I’ll be able to next update but I’ll try my best to update on a regular basis….
I have been reminiscing on my memories of summer…so I thought that it would make sense to do a summer inspired post. I think that I have convinced myself that if I do a summer post then summer will come quicker…but here goes.
Pictured below are my two favourite summer dresses that I probably wore for majority of summer…
I got this floral sundress for £4 and I am convinced that I hold all the secrets on the universe. Nah I got this dress from a charity shop, the label inside the dress shows that the dress is originally from H and M so I am guessing that the original price was around £15. This dress proved popular with lots of people as during the summer I received many compliments about this dress! 🙂
My second dress is another floral dress which I got from New Look for £10. The dress was in the sale and the original price was £20. Again this dress also proved to be popular with people as I received lots of compliments about the dress.
Yes I have noticed that both of these dresses are floral but it’s summer! Summer was practically made so that people like me can go out gallivanting 24/7 in floral dresses. I hope you enjoyed reading this summer inspired post and hopefully i’ll be back with another post soon!
I’m so sorry that I haven’t posted anything for about a month! I’ve been so busy with college, exams and I’ve been on holiday but I’m back! And I’ll try to post as often as I can!
My friend went out thrift shopping last weekend and bought some rad bargains that HAVE to feature on my blog!
She bought all the items pictured below from thrift shops!!
I’m not sure how much she paid for each item but before paying retail price for something please note that my friend got all of this (including wrangler hi-twiggy’s, wrangler jacket, doc martens, american apparel overalls) for £50. So save your money and stay based 🙂
I went out for dinner recently with some friends. I always find it hard to decide what to wear when I go out for dinner, I never know whether to dress up or stay casual. The outfit I wore is a mixture. The skirt, tight and boots keep it dressy but the floral shirt and the studded denim jacket keep the outfit looking casual.
Here is the outfit that I wore:
Below are pictures of each piece of this outfit, where I got them from and how much I paid for them.
Studded Denim Jacket – Topshop – £20 (reduced from £60)
Floral Shirt – Select – £5 (reduced from £12)
Black Skirt – River Island £10 (reduced from £25)
Black Tights – Asda – £2
Cut Out Boots – River Island – £15 (reduced from £45)
This outfit should have cost me £144 for a total of £52. This just shows the wonders of waiting till clothing goes on sale!
I hope I have inspired you and your future fashion choices with this dining out outfit 🙂
P.S: I finished my exams and I think I have done really well! It just shows what revising can do. If any of you have exams coming up please revise because it really does make a difference and good luck because I know you’ll smash them!
I have two pairs of Dr. Martens, a Red pair and a Cherry Red pair. I bought them for retail price of about £100 each but I do regret this seeing as my friend recently bought a pair of Black ones online for £60.
I If you want to buy a pair from a shop there are so many shoe shops that sell them nowadays. Near me shoes shops such as Schuh and Office sell them. Just have a look online and there will be shops near you. On the other hand there are also lots of websites that sell Dr Martens. You just have to be careful that they are real not fake. If you were to get them online I would recommend Amazon (my friend bought a pair from there) because I have bought lots of things from them in the past and they have never once been faulty.
Dr. Martens are definitely worth the price. They are comfortable, fashionable and you can wear them all year round . Two years ago I went to Berlin and I took my Red Dr. Martens. We spent a lot of time walking in the snow and they keep my feet comfortable, warm and dry! Next month I am going to Poland and Germany for a week and the only shoes I am taking are both of my Dr. Martens because I know they will keep my feet happy 🙂
If you have the money then I would definitely recommend that you buy a pair, you wont regret it! If you cant afford to pay for a real pair, you can buy similar shoes that will do exactly the same job as real Dr, Martens, its just the price will be cheaper! If you have a look online you should be able to find whatever it is you are after. Happy Shopping! Link to the official Dr Martens website – http://www.drmartens.com
I’m very excited that new episodes of Twin Peaks are going to be aired in 2016, I thought I would give you a Twin Peaks inspired outfit 🙂
All of these items are thrifted, I got the top for £2, the skirt for £4 and the shoes for £7. So altogether I paid £13 for this outfit. I have received many compliments when wearing this outfit. This just shows what cheap beauties you can find whilst thrifting.
